Developer Workflow

This is the normal human or agent workflow.

Demo-Safe Proof Path​

For demos, audits, or onboarding checks where live GitHub mutation, live AI, docs deployment, Docker, and remote workers should not be required, run the local proof bundle:

pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm build
pnpm proof:onboarding -- --skip-ai --skip-docs

The proof writes command logs, summary.md, and verification.md under:

.x4/proofs/onboarding/<timestamp>/

Use the full proof only when the target machine has the required live provider and worker access:

pnpm proof:onboarding -- --remote-docker

For remote validation:

x4 control submit test --control x4-control-1 --install eager
x4 control submit status <submission-id>
x4 pr comment-status --submission <submission-id> --pr repoId=123 --dry-run
x4 pr check-run --submission <submission-id> --repo repoId --dry-run

Agent Guidance​

Agents should not hand-roll worktrees, branches, preview links, or PR evidence. They should call the same X4 commands humans call, then summarize the command outputs.
