Control Plane
The control plane coordinates remote worker leases, validation jobs, state records, logs, artifacts, repair, and garbage collection.
The control node does not run repo code. It owns leases, job records, scheduling, and cleanup state. Worker/testbox hosts run repo commands and produce artifacts.

Repair
Repair is a manual verification action:
x4 control repair --target <worker> --reason "manual cleanup verified"
Use repair only after inspecting the failed job and confirming worker state is safe.
